Great events deserve great food. The Cohere Centre operates its own exclusive in-house culinary team, which means food is not an afterthought. It is part of the experience, planned and executed with the same care as every other element of your event.
All food and beverage services at the Cohere Centre are provided exclusively by our culinary team. Outside catering is not permitted.
Meet the Chef
Greg Rankie
Executive Chef, Cohere Centre
Greg Rankie brings a diverse culinary background rooted in some of Ottawa’s finest kitchens, including Lago, and experience as Culinary Director across multiple locations in the Toronto market. A proud local, Greg’s approach to food starts well before service: he raises beef cattle on his own farm and grows a variety of crops, with a genuine commitment to seasonal, local, and sustainable sourcing.
That philosophy carries through to every event at the Cohere Centre. Whether your program calls for a working lunch for 40 or a gala dinner for 2,500, Greg and the culinary team bring the same standard of care to the plate.

Food Sampling
Exhibitors wishing to distribute food or beverage samples at their booth must obtain prior written authorization from the Cohere Centre. Sampling is permitted by product manufacturers and distributors only and is subject to the following limits:
