Yes. The Cohere Centre is a ground-floor facility fully committed to accessibility. We comply with all federal, provincial, and municipal accessibility regulations. Accessible washrooms, 29 reserved accessible parking spaces at the front of the lot, and a dedicated drop-off lane via the South Entrance are all available. If you have specific requirements for your visit or event, please contact us in advance and our team will be pleased to assist.

Yes. A dedicated parking area for buses and oversized vehicles is located in the south west corner of the property. Groups and event organizers are encouraged to contact us in advance to coordinate logistics.

Yes. Over 1,800 ground-level parking spaces are available at a flat rate of $10 per day, paid on-site by credit card, debit card, or cash. 29 reserved accessible parking spaces are located in the front row of the lot and are available to guests with a valid accessible parking permit on a first come, first served basis. A dedicated drop-off lane is accessible via the South Entrance.

The Cohere Centre is located at 4899 Uplands Drive, at the corner of Uplands Drive and the Airport Parkway, steps from Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport.

By O-Train: Take Line 4 (Airport Line) one stop from the airport terminal directly to Uplands Station, which is immediately adjacent to the Cohere Centre. Trains run every 12 minutes, seven days a week.

By Bus: OC Transpo routes 4, 98, and 197 serve Uplands Station daily.

By Car: Approximately 15 minutes from downtown Ottawa. Full driving directions are available on our Getting Here page.

Yes. The Cohere Centre is a fully licensed facility. All alcoholic beverages are served exclusively by our in-house team in accordance with the regulations of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

All food and beverage services at the Cohere Centre are provided exclusively by our in-house Culinary Team. Outside food and beverages are not permitted without prior written authorization. The Cohere Centre operates an exclusive in-house culinary team offering full-service catering, banquet and gala dining, conference and meeting catering, exhibition floor food service, and in-booth food delivery for exhibitors. We prioritize local, seasonal ingredients in everything we prepare.

Both high-speed wired and wireless internet are available throughout all exhibit halls, meeting rooms, and pre-function areas through D.E. Systems, our exclusive telecommunications partner. Voice, data, digital signage, and network services can all be arranged through them.

Yes. AV-Canada is our Official Audio-Visual Partner, with a permanent presence at the Cohere Centre. Services include audio, staging, lighting, video, simultaneous interpretation, webcasting, and more.

Yes. PA systems are available throughout all exhibit hall areas for general announcements. For complex audio requirements, our Official AV Partner, AV-Canada, can design and deliver a full audio solution tailored to your event.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is an internationally recognized green building certification program. The Cohere Centre was designed to meet LEED Silver standards, incorporating energy-efficient systems, water conservation features, CO₂ air quality monitoring, and green-certified cleaning products.

SOCAN, the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada, requires a licensing fee for any event where music is played. The Cohere Centre collects and remits this fee on your behalf, and it will appear on your final event invoice. For current fee information, visit socan.ca.

Move-in and move-out times are established in your License Agreement. Early move-in or late move-out outside of contracted hours is subject to an additional hourly charge. Please discuss your setup requirements with your Event Coordinator when contracting your space.

Is there storage space available for advance shipments?2026-05-08T12:38:14-04:00

The Cohere Centre cannot accept exhibit materials or shipments before your contracted move-in date. Our Official Show Services Partner, Stronco, can assist with advance storage, material handling, and exhibit transportation.

Are there restrictions on decorations?2026-05-08T12:37:57-04:00

Yes. All materials used for decorative purposes must be flame retardant and comply with Ottawa Fire Department regulations. Glitter and confetti are not permitted anywhere in the facility. Any items to be hung from the ceiling must be installed by the Cohere Centre Exhibitor Services Team. Please review the Forms and Guidelines section for full details.

Yes. A coat check facility is located in the lobby between the entrances to Halls 2 and 3 at a cost of $3 per item. Hosted coat check arrangements for your event can be made through your Event Coordinator.

Yes. Each exhibit hall has a dedicated 500 square foot show office available for use by event management during your event. There are also two box-office ticket counters available in the facility.

Yes. Outdoor space is available for events and static exhibits. Please contact our Sales team to discuss your specific requirements.

Exhibit Halls 1 through 4 feature concrete floors. Meeting Rooms A, B, C, and D are fully carpeted. Lobby and pre-function areas are porcelain tile.

Ceiling heights in the exhibit halls range from 22 to 26 feet.

The Cohere Centre has a total of 220,000 square feet of versatile event space. This includes 150,000 square feet of column-free exhibition space across four halls, and 11,000 square feet of carpeted meeting room space across four rooms, plus lobby and pre-function areas.

Yes. Additional labour charges may apply for events held on statutory holidays. Please discuss your event dates with your Event Coordinator during the planning process.

The Cohere Centre is available according to the times specified in your License Agreement. The management offices are open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm for general inquiries.

Floor plans are available upon request for all exhibit halls and meeting rooms, including combined configurations. Contact our Sales or Events team to receive current layouts.

Absolutely. We encourage all prospective clients to visit in person. Contact our Sales Manager to schedule a walkthrough at a time that suits you.
